Nutrimart responds to a customer's suggestion to help others.

Nutrimart is committed to helping the community that has wholeheartedly supported them. In response to a customer's suggestion that his "Loyalty Points" be donated to a good cause, Nutrimart took the initiative to identify a worthy organization to help support. Nutrimart is now proud to be a sponsor of Bob Rebello's Worldwide Marathon for Kidney Cancer Research, founded in loving memory of Bob's brother, John.

100% of all donations go directly to research.

John Rebello, Bob's brother and best friend, lost his battle with kidney cancer in 1999. Bob has made a personal committment to raise $100,000 by running marathons on 6 continents, and to date, $49,210.00 has been raised. Bob personally pays all expenses so that 100% of all donations go directly to kidney cancer research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston.

In November 2007, Bob will participate in his 9th worldwide marathon (5th continent), in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

For each $100 that customers earn from Nutrimart's Loyalty Card Savings Program and choose to donate to Bob Rebello's Worldwide Marathon for Kidney Cancer Research, Nutrimart will match this donation with an additional $100. Our customers will still receive all applicable discounts. There is no time limit on the donations. Please note that this opportunity to help is currently available only at our Downtown San Diego "Superstore".
